Equipment Used
This is the Canon 70D with a Rode Microphone attached to the top of the camera. The camera sits upon a “gorilla-pod” flexible type tripod. This is my main camera that I capture video of you guys. Its a consumer type of camera which means its not too expensive so if it falls and breaks its not the end of the world. The next step up of the Canon 80D that captures video in 4K. However I don’t have a computer strong enough to handle 4K. For now this camera captures beautiful images which is creating great memories for all of us.
This is the DJI Phantom 4 Drone. This is a HD camera attached to a quadcopter and I utilize a remote control with an I-PAD so I get a “birds eye” view of what the camera sees. This camera I use to get “b-roll.” B-Roll is filler for video sequences. Sometimes if there are beautiful landscapes or something worth looking at I will fly it and incorporate the footage into your videos. Im sure you will notice these shots. All for you guys…and a little for the kid inside me.
This is the Canon 5D Mark III. This is a professional DSLR camera that I use to shoot photographs of you guys. I have some beautiful lenses and I am able to capture professional photographs of you. I want to make sure that you have many memories to reflect on. Its alot of work now but worth it in the end.
This is an LED light panel that I use to light you guys up. I don’t use it all the time but when I need natural light…this is a window with sunlight where ever I want to position it. It helps with the photographs and a great tool.
