So you may be wondering to yourself why this is titled “So hard to let go.” You see yourselves sitting in the rocking chair with mommy and in your mind, you’re asking yourself ” I don’t get it?” “What’s the big deal?” “Is it the chair?”

Yes. It’s the chair. We had to part with the chair because we really don’t have room or any use for it anymore. However, this chair brings back so many memories for both mommy and I.  We used to feed you in this chair as infants. We would comfort you in this chair. We would burp you in this chair. This chair served as a resting place for us when we would have to wake in the middle of the night because you were hungry or uncomfortable.

This chair was used to prop you guys up to take your photos. This chair kept you safe when we made your beds or cleaned your rooms. This chair helped us take the cutest photos of you individually or together. This chair stood by as needed. This chair was there for mommy to grab you and prop you against her and sing lullabies to you even though you were past that age.

This chair was there for you Anne when mommy held you and sang the Anne Lil girl song. This chair has been there for a journey of your childhood that is no longer with us. So it was time to part with our chair and give it to another family to discover their journey with their children.
