Today was a big day in Anne’s life. To watch our little girl get so excited over this event we knew for sure that she is no longer our little baby. She undertstands that she is part of team and understands that her role is as important as anyone else in the unit. Anne was participating in a Halloween Nursery school production. To you and I maybe not a big deal. However, for our little angle this was a Broadway production.
Annelise was very focused and we saw how she is starting to mature. Since the introduction of Disney and its characters she has obsessed over Mickey & Minnie Mouse. For sure we thought she would want to dress up as Minnie this year. To much our surprise she chose to be “Hello-Kitty.” When we went to pick halloween costumes it took several stores before she approved the appropriate costume. Mind you shes 3 years old. That’s our Annelise…even at such a ripe age she knows what she wants.
Then Anne discovered that she would be part of this production she came home and sang songs all the time. The funny thing is that everytime she sang it would annoy Tyler and he would always yell at her and tell her to “stop singing.”
These two always entertain us with there little quarrels.
It was an exciting day for all of us. I of course brought everything I could without trying to be intrusive to the other parents. I brought 2 cameras and 2 different lenses and a mono-pod. I ended up dropping one of my lenses. It fell right out of my bag. Hopefully I can get it fixed. So here are some of the photos from todays event.
