Christmas Eve 2017. I know as you read some these blog posts that the alot of them (especially around the holidays or birthdays) they start with “I can’t believe…” Daddy can’t help himself because its surreal how quickly the both of you are growing. I remember as if it was yesterday that I was holding you in my arms for Christmas and here you are standing in front of a Christmas tree wearing your dress and your sports jacket posing for a photo. Mommy and I are in awe each year because having you in our lives makes us realize how precious time is.
You will not understand how precious time is until you are older. Believe me now its the most important commodity that your mother and I have. With the both of you in our lives nothing is valuable except the time we have with the both of you.
So this year we didn’t have many people coming over it was just the four of us and “babcia” so mommy & decided it would be easier to go out for Christmas eve. We went to the Garden City Hotel which has wonderful dining experience where we could eat and don’t have to clean up. We had a wonderful dinner while it was snowing outside.
We had to be careful driving home because it was really cold and everything was icing up. But once we got home we made some tea and started to get you guys ready for bed because Santa Clause was on his way to drop off presents.
It was quite Christmas this year but we were happy to have our little family of our own and to spend it with you.
