Today is a beautiful Sunday afternoon and my daughter Annelise and I are sitting on the stairs. We both wear glasses, and today we decided to take a selfie to commemorate the moment. As we look at the picture, we can’t help but laugh at how alike we look. Our frames are similar, but Annelise’s are a bright pink, her favorite color. It’s amazing to see how our glasses have become a part of our identity and bring a touch of personality to our outfits.
Annelise is growing up so fast, and I’m grateful to have these moments to cherish with her. Our glasses may just be a small accessory, but they bring us even closer together. I can’t wait to see what other adventures and memories we create in the future.
