Pau is on vacation with her sister. Mommy had to work today so daddy took the day to spend some time with the babies. Instead of staying home or just going to the park. Daddy decided to do something different. The zoo isn’t open so lets go to the Aquarium so you could see all types of fish and ocean life.
When we first arrived I didn’t think much of this aquarium because of its size. But then again daddy shouldn’t of “judged a book by its cover” because there was more hidden inside this gem than I expected.
We also had an additional treat at the aquarium and that was meeting the easter-crocodile. I have to give you guys credit. Anne your 4 years old and Tyler is still 2 at this time (you’ll be 3 next week) and you have a great deal of courage and you have that child curiosity that made you both very bold.
When we first walked up to the crowd of people standing around the crocodile Tyler displayed caution with curiosity while starring at the croc. Annelise, well you displayed fear and defiance to even approach the croc but this where child-curiosity peaked its little head. Need I say more…thhe photos above speak a thousand words. You bith took a turn to pet the crocodile. Bravo! & High-5! To you both. You kids a great.
Daddy really enjoyed your natural curiosity. The best part was that every display we approached your interest grew more and more. Like with this picture with you Tyler and the King Crab. I was ready to snap a photograph of you observing the king crab. But you turned at the exact moment when I pressed the shutter button and look at yourself for moment. That expression just boasts enthusiasm.
What I learned on this trip is that no matter how old you are to learn. It doesn’t matter if you can speak, yet. It doesn’t matter if you cannot read or write, yet. I learned that learning is something that is innate at any age regardless what challenges you may have. With regards to the two of you your still in nursery school learning the basics but your open to learn.
I also learned that these type of trips with stimulate the both of you. I also learned that you have interests besides playing, smartphones and cartoons. It really was enlightening to learn this. I have never really been around children nor did I get a chance to learn anything about them. However, since the two fo you entered my world its been a learning process. This trip was one of the best trips I have ever had with the both of you. I promise you both that we will have many more this in the future.
This aquarium had many surprises. Not only did it have a ton of different species of fish, it has crocodiles like we saw earlier it also has Penguins and Monkeys. We saw the penguins swim which was remarkable that they can swim so quickly. The monkeys can be observed all day because they are so human like. Tyler expressed the most interest with the monkeys.
I hope you kids had fun today. I know that daddy had a wonderful time with you both. I couldn’t express enough to mommy how much fun it was with you both. I hope you can remember this day when your reading his.
